Best Damn sandwich I ever ate and the service was grate

We had great food here. The last behind the counter, who owned the place was really nice to us. There was some confusion though, all the signs said closed an no one answered the phone when we called but we saw people leaving with food so we poked our heads in. We were served without question or hesitation. Just a curious sight to see no attempt at appearing open. Anyway, I would recommend going there regardless of what the signs say.

You won't be disappointed. We have 2 small children and this restaurant was more than accommodating for these picky eaters. Additionally my wife has very specific dietary needs. The staff took the time to speak with her and develop something that she could have. The food is delectable and the prices more than reasonable.

The place is amazing! The food is incredible! And you can change anything on any different sandwiches or burgers. It's fast and yummy. Jeri is a great cook and a sweet lady!!

Stopped in for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food the hospitality of the cook. We had the special of the day - one of best hamburgers I have a had in a long time!

The kind of small locally owned place serving real food that can be hard to find on the road. grilled sandwiches and tacos made fresh to order. Just what we were looking for.

I was looking for a local breakfast place. I googled food in Deer Lodge and Yak Yaks came up. I was so happy I chose this small place to eat instead of a chain. The food is not precooked and the service is wonderful! I would recommend this to everyone!

This place is indescribable. Good food, a unique concept, and popularity earn it four stars. The concept: open up your living room, fix sandwiches on the dining room table, and make everybody happy.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Columbia Falls, MT based on all the reviews and it was delicious!! Kim, the owner, has been running it for 14 years and she is the kindest lady. She also rescues animals so she's good in my book! Food was amazing, she cooked it while she talked to us. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in town. :)

Cutest little local lunch spot. Very accommodating to gluten sensitivity and such a great and homey atmosphere in general. Run a little differently than the norm so it was also a nice new experience. Delicious food and my family really enjoyed the visit. Great job yak yak!!!

The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. I gave only 4 stars because the waitress made several errors, kept apologizing and just seemed disoriented. I would stop there again.

Great place to stop for lunch. My husband and I shared the Turkey/Avacado and the Tuna Melt sandwiches . Both were delicious.

Had breakfast there the other day and it was great. Nice atmosphere but they really need to put a hood over that cook top so that the smoke and smell can actually vent out. I smelled like my breakfast all day. I am not a fan of syrups for flavors in coffee especially when I order a mocha. If I knew they would use "mocha syrup" in my mocha I would not have ordered it.

This was an awesome place to stop on our way through town! The food was cooked fresh and the service was excellent and pretty fast! My friend and I got the Yak Yak philly and the turkey club. 👍🏻on both of those sandwiches!

What a fun little spot. Kim, the owner served us which was such a delight! She was very personable, had good recommendations and made the whole lunch a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Yak Yak's!

Delicious food and super cheap

We stopped here after spending the night at the hot springs in Anaconda. We showed up 15 minutes before breakfast ended and they started our meals right away! The food was DELICIOUS!! Huge portions, cooked to order, and yummy! She had the best pancakes and was even willing to share the recipe with me! Stop here for breakfast or lunch! You will NOT be disappointed!! Thank you for a great memory of a wonderful meal!

Quiet little restaurant in a small town, owner operator, chief cook.We had a nice meal, plenty of food, good service and tasty. This gal knows her stuff.Limited menu but good choices, we will be back.

Very cozy, nice lady working, delicious breakfast. I wish they didn't serve coffee in styrofoam, especially when drinking it in the restaurant, but the espresso was decent.

Food was great and it was a nice stop on the way through Deer Lodge. Prices were a little more than expected, but good for the value.

Wonderful little lunch spot. Stopped for lunch on our way to South Dakota. A unique and different place. I had a cup of soup and half a turkey sandwich...very good. We were a little unsure about stopping there...only because of the name...but very glad we did. Yum!

Came here with a big group and pre-ordered over a dozen sandwiches. Everything came out hot and delicious, and we were treated like guests in their home kitchen. The turkey avocado sandwich is a perfect combo of ingredients, and they have a full menu of espresso drinks. Great stop if you're in Deer Lodge!

Nice people. If your looking for a highly commercialized dining experience, this is not the place for you. The quality of the food was good. everything was made to order, and fresh. My only feedback to the folks that operate this place would be to search some how-to videos on food service interaction. Seemed like everyone was busily making food with very little guest interaction. Placed food and walked away without checking in. Didn’t stop by tables. This place has a lot of good, with a little work on their customer experience they could be quite good.

This place has the best sandwiches ever! And the coffee is even better!
